Heyy guys, this is a mini review on the INIKA organic makeup lip liners!! INIKA currently have 6 lip liners which can all be used with more than one of the lip colours since they are all similar. I tend to use safari the most just because it’s a lovely colour. These lip liners are really nice, they go on smoothly but are not too soft like some lip liners can be. These contain coconut oil which is perfect for keeping the lips soft. I will say that Buff is a really strange light shade that I never wear, it’s a bit like the concealer lip craze that is hopefully never going to return.
Retail price: £16 , I think this is a good price for a really good quality product.
Quality: The quality is excellent and would give it a 10 out of 10, but the range could do with some more colours.
Packaging: The packaging looks just like any lip liner pencil, they sharpen really easily unlike some lip liners and they don’t tend to break off once sharpened.
This product is really nice, the only one down side is that there are only 6 shades but I would definitely recommend and I use these regularly.
Thanks for reading, if you liked this blog and would like to see more on other green brands let me know in the comments xx
INIKA is certified organic, vegan and non-toxic and does not contain any harmful ingredients unlike most makeup brands out there today.
I have done some INIKA BB cream swatches for you guys to see. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this BB cream as all of the other brands that are non-toxic are either strangely grainy/ dry or too oily. This one however is VERY light on the skin, it sets slightly and has very nice coverage. There are two new lighter shades and there are two darker shades arriving this month (October 2017) at the moment the shades are porcelain, nude, cream, beige, honey and tan. With the new darker shades arriving I feel like it is a good step forward, I have noticed it is difficult to find organic non-toxic makeup that is suitable for darker skin tones. I will definitely update you on the new shades once they arrive.
From the left the colours are: Porcelain, Nude, cream , beige, honey and tan.
Price: Retails at £30 , I think this is reasonable keeping in mind that it is organic and non-toxic and it is a 30ml bottle.
Quality: I would give this a 9/10 for a BB cream as it lasts all day without going cakey, it does go slightly oily after hours of wearing it but it is very easy to touch up with the mattifying powder.
Packaging: I like packaging, however you can't tell how much product is left in the bottle which is something that annoys me as I do like to know when I would need to be buying some more. The matte effect makes it cling on to the smudges which is slightly annoying, however I do like the black and gold colour scheme.
If you would like to see some swatches of other INIKA makeup just leave me a comment with what products you would like to see, hope this helped!! :)
